The Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova is the football stadium in the Brazilian city of Salvador, rebuilt for the 2014 World Cup. We carried out various projects, such as the construction of the solar protection breezeways or sunscreens, made from extruded aluminium profiles and forming a second skin to protect the stadium from solar radiation. Its simple anchoring system allows for rapid assembly and consequent compliance with the demanding deadlines set by the client. We also built the modular and inclined curtain wall on the interior facades of the breezeways. In addition, we carried out interior glass and aluminium cladding work in the VIP box area, press areas and commercial areas.
